Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow Yoga
The Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow Yoga classes draw predominantly on asana from the primary & intermediate series of Ashtanga, with a strong basis in the sun salutations whilst also concentrating on the breath. This, in turn, will help to create strength, flexibility, and inner peace. Mary's classes are energizing and revitalizing and can be enjoyed by all levels of yoga experience, however some level of fitness is required, as the classes are quite fast moving.

Kundalini Meditation & Gentle Yoga

'When you are calm, quiet and sensitive you can expand. But when you are irritated, phobic, fearful, insensitive, and neurotic, you can't achieve anything.' Yogi Bhajan

This therapeutic class is designed for those who wish to cultivate the meditative mind and gently stretch and align the physical body. We begin with Pranayama (breathing techniques) to calm, reduce stress and increase vitality. We continue with Asana (yoga postures) to increase flexibility and gently strengthen. An array of Meditation techniques will be employed in the classes. The meditation techniques can assist you in changing unwanted habits, eliminating stress, anger or anxiety and embracing your your full potential.

This class is appropriate for all levels of physical ability. Kundalini Meditation and Yoga will bring you to a balanced and peaceful state of wellness.

Yogic Lunch - Eat & Exercise with Kundalini Yoga

Do you find it hard to make time for yourself? Come and join us for a quick (40 minute) Kundalini Yoga class at lunchtime. It's amazing what a difference just 40 minutes can make! Develop your mental and physical flexibility and ability through breath work, yogic exercise and meditation. Stay for a quick complementary vegetarian yogic lunch. If you don't have time to stay for lunch, bring a container to take it away with you. Nourish your body, mind and spirit.

Kundalni Yoga Sadhana (Yoga Practice in the Early Morning Hours)

Yogi Bhajan, the Master of Kundalini Yoga said, 'The greatest reward of doing sadhana (personal spiritual discipline) is that the person becomes incapable of being defeated. Sadhana is a self-victory, and it is a victory over time and space. Getting up in the morning is a victory over time, and doing it (sadhana) is a victory over space.'

The word Sadhana is derived from the Sanskrit Sa, meaning all, and Dhana, meaning blessings.

In the tradition of Kundalini Yoga, the yogic practice takes place in the very early morning hours when the earthly plane is still. Sadhana is done to clear your own consciousness so you can relate to the infinity within you. Group sadhana at the Well Within on Tuesday mornings will include exercise and prayerful meditation. It may even encourage you to start your own daily practice! A donation is requested for attending.

Parent & Child Yoga

You and your child will enjoy creative and imaginative ways to explore yoga. You'll delve into the animal world, singing and your using your imaginations. This class brings out the child in everyone. Hana may even bring her guitar along!

There will be half an hour of play time for the children to enjoy and for the parents to have a cup of tea and socialise after the yoga session.

The two teachers offering these classes are Krishan Prakash and Hana Karlovcova. One has a background in working with young people and they are both very passionate about yoga and children. These will be fun, creative and energetic classes.
